Just kind of checking in.  Feeling lonesome with 20yo away at college for her first year (she graduated 2 yr local college) and 17yo doing his social thing in his senior year.    Hubby is a distant sort of person doing the midlife crisis thing and not home much at all so feeling at odds with the quiet life of a 49yo despite having many things to accomplish.  Anyone else in this boat?  I live in small town, few job opportunities except for youngsters and have reached the point that I want to have an occupation of some kind I actually like involving books, crafts or plants.  I currently process alpaca fleece and knit for $.  Suggestions?

Didn't mean to sound whiney but searching for viable sort of occupation of my time since kiddoes don't need me for much now.  I know there are Mums out there that are my age and searching...Tired of feeling loney.

  Just wanted to post and say greetings 'cause I hate lurkers.  I just joined Covenspace and I think it's great!    I am a solitary Celtic/Kitchen/Hedge witch...erm, how do you put that in your profile??  I have one local friend that is pagan and a few online but feel a wee bit lonesome at times when it comes to my beliefs.  So I'm looking forward to getting to know others!
